Dean Ornish's Princeton, NJ Group--Dr. Ornish's New Jersey group
John McDougall--A heart risk doctor and author with an excellent (and very stringent) diet and program for risk reduction
AHA--American Heart Association--A wealth of heart health information. Most is excellent. We do, though, disagree with the AHA's national guidelines for cholesterol, which are way too lenient and therefore misleading. They do not line up with the research from the Framingham Heart Study.
Framingham Heart Study--The most thorough and important heart risk study ever done. This is where we learned so much about cholesterol.
